I am extremely passionate about learning and teaching languages. I was first exposed to German when I was in kindergarten and I learned English once I moved to the United States. Language has played a major role in my life and I have a strong desire to pass along my knowledge to others, whether that involves helping someone learn a completely new language or helping them to improve their skills in a language they are already studying. I am comfortable tutoring students in Spanish, Italian, French, and English. In my experience, language opens a lot of doors in terms of providing career benefits. Additionally, learning new languages provides the opportunity to connect with and share ideas with people all around the world. When someone experiences a new culture, it is typical for them to feel out of sorts because the culture seems so much different than their own. But once they start to learn the language, they realize that the new culture may not be so different from their own. In terms of hobbies, I enjoy, nature, sports, science, history, economics, cooking, hiking, camping, fishing, visiting museums, reading, playing the guitar, skiing, and climbing. My interest in economics has led me to study the subject at CUNY Hunter College.
